PUMA’s NYC Flagship Store Now Offers Immersive Experience

Launches studio to bring customized and tech-driven engagement zones for consumers

Westford, Massachusetts: The Labor Day weekend, combined with the ongoing US Open event, will have sports enthusiasts all excited, as PUMA announced on August 29, the launch of its immersive experience store at 609 Fifth Avenue in New York City.

The 18,000 sq ft facility has sports zones spread across its two-storied studio to give a unique shopping experience to customers through their digitally connected offerings via a customization studio.

Bjoern Gulden, CEO at PUMA SE said, “PUMA is thrilled to open its first flagship in New York City, in a prime Manhattan location, that will allow us to connect with both our US and international customers. I believe investing in this new store – in one of the fastest-paced cities in the world – will help us in our pursuit to be the fastest sports brand in the world. We’re committed to pushing the boundaries of sports, fashion, and technology, and this store is the latest manifestation of that commitment.”

Bob Philion, President of PUMA North America added, “PUMA continues to see solid growth within North America and this new store reaffirms our commitment to this important market. From visitors that come to experience this iconic city, to lifelong New Yorkers, we’re excited to open our doors in a vibrant and diverse community that aligns with our ‘Forever Faster’ mentality.”

Like most PUMA stores, this one will also offer the full range of PUMA products, including soccer, basketball, golf, lifestyle, motorsport, performance, and kids. Along with this, they will also feature exclusive collections by athletes and other sports personalities, and host events aligned to the NYC populace.

During the grand opening weekend, August 29 through September 2, customers can experience the unique offerings, including exclusive opening weekend merchandise, in-store performances, and fitness activations.

PUMA has partnered with famous designers and artists to bring its exclusive PUMA x YOU customization studio to the store where customers can personalize PUMA apparel, footwear and accessories using dips, paints, patchwork, dyes, 3D-knitting, laser printing, and many other mediums.

You can also offer customization to your customers with iDesigniBuy’s shoe design software for better customer engagement and subsequently higher ROI.
