NEW YORK, Oct. 7, 2020 — Cole Haan, the iconic American performance lifestyle brand and retailer, has collaborated with Slack Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: WORK) to create a collection of limited-edition Generation ZERØGRAND footwear styles designed with Slack, in Slack. The collection combines the innovative style that first disrupted the sneaker world in 2019, with the tech unicorn that has been increasingly disrupting workplace communications for the past seven years.

The partnership felt like a natural fit for the two innovation brands, particularly given that each stage of Cole Haan’s product development, including creating this particular collaboration–happens in Slack. With the pandemic-related rise of remote working, Cole Haan has heavily used the channel-based messaging and file-sharing platform to write new rules for the company’s works – believing that we can work apart and still be part of something.
